Rodney was in the position of Senior Construction Manager on State Highway 16 upgrade. The project comprised building a trial embankment to test various soft ground improvement techniques for the Client, NZTA. Rodney was responsible for site supervision, progress reporting, issuing payment certificates, notices to the Contractor, liaising with NZTA’s project manager. He also compiled the internal (consultant’s) budget for MSQA services, tracked budget and reported monthly to the Aurecon Project Leader.
