Wippenaar Professional Services Pty Ltd was established in November 2019 based primarily on the experience of founding Director Rod Wippenaar

Rodney is a very skilled Contract Administrator and Senior Project Engineer who has gained experience and demonstrated capability on a number of projects internationally and locally in NSW, Australia. Rodney has over 20 years’ experience in the construction of bridge, building, road and rail projects and has developed a reputation as a very competent Site based Engineer.

He has excellent technical knowledge and outstanding communication skills which along with his solid background in analysis and design makes him an invaluable asset on site. He has a knack for foreseeing constructability issues and for resolving these in a fast and cost sensitive manner. He also has large project experience with Nad Al Sheba racecourse access (RTA Dubai, UAE), N2 Highway Upgrade (SANRAL, South Africa), Bulahdelah Bypass, Nambucca Heads to Urunga (RMS), Warrell Creek to Nambucca Heads and Sydney Metro 2.

We wish to acknowledge the companies Rod worked for over the years and their contribution to his development: Asch Consulting Engineers, Vela VKE Engineers (SMEC), KV3 Engineers, Africon, Aurecon and APP. Much of the photographs and images are property of these companies. 

Our Mission and Vision

We believe that collaboration and positive relationships between all people involved in delivering a project are key to achieving quality products on construction sites. Positive relationships have at their core the values of honesty and respect. Construction is a team activity and every player has their role, no one is more special than another. A flat non-hierarchical approach delivers the optimum relationships for effective problem solving on site. We encourage ownership and responsibility in work and conduct. Everyone should work towards a common goal of providing ourselves and our children with well-constructed infrastructure. If you are not focused and passionate about this, then you should perhaps do something else with your time.

Wippenaar Services

We provide Construction Phase Services on large Infrastucture projects. Examples are: 1. Contract Administration functions on Traditional contracts or Construct only (as known in Australia). 2. Independent Certification or Project Verification functions on Design and Construct contracts. This is primarily in the Australian market, other forms of site roles may be entered to, depending on requirements and Contract forms.
